The Giant US Aerospace, Boeing was stated that they will increase the production for the aircraft type Boeing 777 and 747-8 Freighter to support the market demands. Boeing has been increasing the production capacity for their newest model Boeing 747-8, up to two aircrafts per month.
This new Boeing 747-8 Freighter was successfully tested on 30,000 feet at 280 mph. The first fly of this plane was held on Seattle for 2.5 hours. This plane is 76.264 meters long and is longer than the Airbus A380 (73 meters). This is the most weight aircraft ever made. The maximum weight when take off can reach 442,000 kilograms, similar to 51,000 adults.
The Boeing 747-8 Freighter is using the General Electric engine that is smaller in size compared to ordinary jet engine, and is more fuel efficient up to 20 percent. This 747-8 can carry cargo up to 140,000 tons and can fly 8,100 kilometers in just single stop. It is planned that this series will also replace the current US Air Force One. Source
