Thailand is Producing Eco Friendly Car, Nissan March

Slightly the new Nissan March is more like a VW Beetle. Take a look at the front design and the overall dimension, I think this Nissan must be based on the VW Beetle. Nissan motor Thailand is starting to produce the global compact car named Nissan March (Micra). Thailand is a strategic country to reach more consumer on Asia Pacific region. This new Nissan March that currently an “Eco Car” will be displayed on Bangkok International Motor Show 2010 this March. This economic car is also low emission and also already accomplish with the Safety Regulation of Uni Eropa (UNECE).

Besides Thailand, Nissan March will be available in 160 countries around the world and this car also produced in China, India and Mexico. You can get this Nissan March for about 375,000 baht to 537 baht. Nissan optimistic that this car will be accepted by Thailand Market that currently needs the efficient cars.

Nissan March was built using new platform designed in Japan for developing countries. With the compact 1.2 liter engine, 3 cylinders, March can produce 79 horse power and 108 Nm of Torque. This hatchback will be equipped with 5 speed manual transmission and continuous variable transmission (CVT). The Nissan March is claimed only produce CO2 emission 120 g/km.
