I like the new features built in the Canon Digital IXUS 200 IS. Its a touch auto focus. This feature will provide a new way of auto focusing on pocket camera. Differ with ordinary auto focus on other digital camera, on the IXUS 200 IS we only need to select the object inside the LCD screen with finger touch. This capabilities is very useful.
Inside this IXUS 200 IS there is Smart Auto mode that has been improved with Servo AF/AE. Camera automatically tracks moving subjects when you half pressed the shutter button. This camera is equipped with 12.1 megapixels resolution that can produce crisp and bright pictures even in low light conditions. Thanks to advanced imaging processor DIGIC 4 technology.
IXUS IS 200 IS support many ranges of ISO selection, Auto, ISO 80 / 100 / 200 / 400 / 800 / 1600. Large, high visibility on-screen icons allow for quick and easy selection of shooting and flash modes, while a vertical orientation shutter release function means users can shoot by simply touching the screen. Touch Actions allow users to match gestures made on-screen to commonly used functions, such as tagging images as favourites or erasing, rotating, or protecting images in their collection. Browsing images has never been easier – simply drag your finger across the screen and the camera will adjust the speed of review with the speed of the gesture on-screen.
