After released the Mazda2 hatchback at the end of 2009, Mazda Thailand is now released the new 2010 Mazda2 Sedan. This new Mazda sedan will be sold at starting price of 535,000 baht and the most expensive is at 700,000 baht. Mazda2 is the new car that offers good solutions for sporty and active youngsters.
The Thailand Mazda Managing Director, John Ray expect that Mazda2 can follow the previous successor Mazda2 hatchback with 5,500 unit since November 2009. Ray also stated that on 2010, Mazda hatcback and sedan are expected can be sold up to 24,000 units. Mazda2 sedan is powered by 1.5 liter MZR DOCH-4-cylinders 16 valves . This engine can produce 103 hp on 6,000 rpm and 135 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. This engine is equipped with with S-VT and TSCV, this engine is believed can control the performance at any speed.
