This is the new high end motherboard from MSI (Micro Star International). Its MSI 890FX-GD70, an AMD Processor motherboard that newly released by this Taiwan manufacturer. Basically this MSI 890FX-GD70 will be released in mid 2010. MSI puts a lot of new technology into this powerful motherboard.
The MSI 890FX-GD70 features integrated Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 Channel Audio, and a NEC controller that can handle the eSATA and FireWire port, also the newest technology of USB 3.0. Based on the official pictures of this MSI 890FX-GD70, there are 6 PCI Express x16 that more than enough to build CrossFire X system. This motherboard also has 6 port SATA 6 GBps and additional SATA connectors that the speed is not known yet.
The MSI 890FX-GD70 is based on Leo desktop platform as a replacement to Dragon platform that was previously released at Consumer Electronic Show 2009. This Platform will combined with Thuban, a hexa core processors and Chipset RD890 series. Those three AMD platform will be released at 2010.
