The B-25 will continue to be based at its home in Mesa, AZ at historic Falcon Field from September through May each year and is available for flight experiences in the Phoenix metro area during Fall, Winter, and Spring each year.The rare gunship model of the B-25, used heavily in the South Pacific for ground attack, was one of the most unique adaptations of the Mitchell seen during the war. The North American B-25H Mitchell, named “Barbie III” is the last flying H-model with the 75mm cannon in the nose.
