Gigabyte has just release the new high end video card G92 core generation, GeForce GTS 250 named Gigabyte GV-N250ZL-1GI. Physically, this product design is quiet different from nVidia reference board. This is because of the Ultra Durable Technology inside this VGA card. This board is using PCB Board 2 oz that is currently the new technology developed by Gigabyte.
Ultra Durable VGA was built to provide higher overclocking performance, lower GPU temperature and power efficiency. This VGA is powered by 1 Gigabyte of memory and use third party HSF by Zalman. This HSF is focused on the main GPU only, it doesn’t include the memory cooling.
This Gigabyte GV-N250ZL-1GI is also support SLI technology but Gigabyte only provide one connector. Also Gigabyte eliminate the S-Video port and replaced by integrated HDMI port. For standard monitor connectivity, Gigabyte combine D-Sub and DVI, this is different than usual dual DVI design. Overall this VGA is produce less heat when operated in standard mode compared to other VGA from different manufacture and same class. The clock configuration is not much different with the other reference VGA card.
