On the outside, Iphone 3GS looks and feels identical like Iphone 3G. But inside, the IPhone 3GS has new core components and together with IPhone OS 3.0, the IPhone 3GS stands tall than the other competitor, including its little brother IPhone 3G.
The 3GS with its CPU and its memory boosted over the 3G, is zipper than older version. Apps open and respond faster over both 3G and WiFi. Call quality and reception remain the mixed. Calls sounded adequate but sometimes lacked clarity. In PC World test centre, the talk time is 6 hours, 12 minutes longer than IPhone 3G. The camera is now 3 megapixels. The autofocus and tap to focus is very good by selecting different focus points.
The big news is the integration of video capture and editing. The camera take 30 fps and 640 x 480 video resolution. Sending video is very easy since its hooked with YouTube service. The OS 3.0 brings cool features like a landscape keyboard, cut and paste.
