
The new BMW 3 Series is ready to be launched. Currently this car is still in testing and final checking system.The next-generation BMW 3 Series was finally revealed. Yet the Munich brand isn’t sitting on its hands in the meantime – the current 3 Series coupe and convertible are getting a mild refresh and updated powerplants this spring for the 2011 model year. The 3 Series coupe will now be equipped with xDrive all-wheel drive, also the BMW 3 Series convertible gets a new solar reflective leather. This new model would include either a dual-clutch paddle shift transmission or a Sport Automatic and get special styling and aerodynamics. Some M Sport trim options will also be included, such as an M Sport steering wheel. In addition, it is expected that the 335is will feature the same engine tweaks found on the upcoming Z4 sDrive35is, with 335-hp and 332 ft-lbs of torque
The most significant updates come underhood, where the much lauded twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six is being replaced by a new single turbo version. The revised engine, dubbed N55, has recently been launched in the 740i and the 535i Gran Turismo.
