The new Toyota car has revealed in Tokyo Auto Salon. Its the new Toyota Prius G Sport edition. This car got many critics from the fans and reviewers. The Prius G Sports gets a set of new bumpers and side skirts; LED running lights; a new exhaust and 18? wheels that have apparently been fitted with high performance tyres. Why? The Prius G Sports gets the same 1.8 litre hybrid setup as the standard Prius.I like the wheel fairings if they decrease drag. A performance Prius is kind is a little at odds with the purpose of the car. If the thing needs better suspension, fine. If they improve the aerodynamics with optional bodywork that would alienate the general public, cool.
Inside the G Sport Prius, the car boasts a revised steering wheel, RECARO sport seats, aluminum pedals, black piano trim, and a new information display.Like the standard Prius, power comes from a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine with 73 kW (99 PS) and 142 Nm of torque. The "G’s" series will get special factory-installed seats and suspension. The "G’s" series name is based on the "G" linked with classic Toyota sport models like the 2000GT and the Celica GT-Four.
The "G’s" lineup will have special features "in terms of exterior and interior design and driving performance," said Toyota. Performance tweaks will be overseen by the Gazoo Racing test drivers who drove the Lexus LFA in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring race in Germany and developed the iQ-based Gazoo Racing tuned by MN (GRMN) car.
